Buddha's Day Celebration

Baby Buddha was decorated with flowers and leaves at Dae-woong-Jeon in Younghwasa. Buddhists ladle water on top of the Baby Buddha's head to represent give him a shower.
On May 24, younghwasa had a ceremony to celebrate Buddha's Day. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the beautiful ceremony was performed without a public gathering. Buddha's Day is an annual ceremony to celebrate and appreciate Buddha's presence.
